Inter-Service Family Assistance Committee
An Inter-Service Family Assistance Committee (ISFAC) is a voluntary military cooperative partnership organized to provide multi-service networking for training and assistance to ensure Total Force Family Readiness. Their purpose is to provide assistance to families regardless of service component.
ISFACs are intended to augment current military family program resources, not replace them. ISFACs are a force multiplier for providing assistance to military families. The partnerships created by the ISFACs can provide many benefits.
What is an ISFAC?
"A voluntary military/community cooperative partnership organized to allow service providers to engage in multi-service networking to assist with connecting Service Members and Families to local military and/or community resources."

Establishing ISFACs are designed to achieve the following results:
ISFAC's are organized geographically, by regional area.
Members belong to a myriad of different groups. Including all branches of the Military, Government agencies, Veteran Service Organizations, Child and Youth Services, Red Cross, Salvation Army, United Way, Faith Communities and those community agencies specific to your region or state.
